Job Summary:

We are looking for an Optimal Blue Client Advisor who is responsible for a variety of tasks required to provide support for existing customers.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Maintain customer relationships; proactively provide customers with helpful information regarding the system and make suggestions on how to use the system to its full capability
  • Complete defined Client Advisor/Product training to obtain complete understanding of the system
  • Converse with customers by phone addressing any questions, problems, and ongoing training
  • Stay informed on new release changes and new products
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service evidenced by customer feedback and performance reviews
  • Stay informed on industry trends
  • Conduct in person (on site or at customer’s location) training sessions

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • At least two years’ experience in the mortgage lending industry
  • Secondary marketing experience
  • Familiarity and experience with mortgage technology including PPEs, LOS, etc.
  • Familiarity and understanding of the loan process from origination to sale
  • Familiarity with investor rate sheets and product guidelines is required
  • Basic to advanced computer skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills

Job Summary:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Be a key contributor in a cross-functional, agile, data engineering and analytics team.
  • Perform data wrangling using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Develop ETL pipelines using source databases and REST services.
  • Design and build big data analytic applications.
  • Build scalable and supportable data platforms and support the fast-growing data within the business.
  • Integrate with data mining packages (ML, ANNs, Decision Tree, etc.), e.g. the Azure Cortana Intelligence suite
  • Develop, and support the development of, reports and visualizations using Power BI or similar packages.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through well-defined acceptance criteria and testing.
  • Help shape user stories for new capabilities, ensuring data lineage is well managed as part of the process.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in ETL development and backroom processes required.
  • Strong SQL experience, including advanced query concepts and query performance tuning.
  • Experience with standard star schema design and development concepts, including fact table types, grain levels and SCDs required.
  • Experience in cloud computing (PaaS and IaaS) environments; particularly in the Azure cloud.
  • Experience in general-purpose programming language such as C#, Java, or Python.
  • Familiarity with Big Data platforms and pipeline concepts such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for supporting the developers of consuming customers in the implementation, troubleshooting and ongoing support of Optimal Blue API. Optimal Blue API is used for integrations with various Loan Origination Systems (LOS) as well as many mortgage technology partners.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating verbally and in writing with developers to ensure they have access to and understand all of the documentation related to integrations using Optimal Blue’s API
  • Assist developers with troubleshooting/debugging all issues related to the building and testing of the API integration i.e. data/content abnormalities connection issues etc.
  • Responsible for identifying and communicating trends to management

Qualifications

  • Technical background related to software or application development or related positions
  • 2 plus years’ experience debugging and supporting integrated software applications using Web APIs
  • 2 plus years’ experience using API troubleshooting tools (experience with Postman a definite plus)
  • 2 plus years’ experience working with both technical (developers) and nontechnical customers explaining and supporting the implementation and troubleshooting process associated with Web APIs
  • 2 plus years’ experience working in the mortgage industry
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required

What we are looking for:

  • An operational Sr. Database Administrator (DBA)/Database Optimizer/Database Expert who has:
  • Responsibility for the configuration, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of all databases within the company while being a part of a larger team.
  • Knowledge of and expertise with Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2+ in high-volume applications.
  • Strong understanding of table structure and indexing strategies to maximize performance and minimize maintenance.
  • Solid comprehension of IO limitation and optimizations.
  • Excellent skills in designing and maintaining highly available database platforms.
  • Excellent skills and disaster recovery (DR) solutions including techniques such as mirroring, always on availability groups and log shipping.
  • Experience migrating to and managing SQL platforms in Microsoft Azure.
  • Keen adherence to implementation and enforcement of database security policies.
  • Availability to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours production support.
  • Experience managing a distributed environment of databases (1000+ databases).
  • Strong skills building and maintaining database monitoring capabilities.

  • Five (5) plus years of experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server environments 2008R2 and higher.
  • Experience managing SQL database platforms in Azure (IaaS and Azure SQL).
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving blocking and deadlocking, connectivity, availability, and security issues.
  • Experience interpreting “Estimated Execution Plans’ to identify and or resolve performance issues.
  • Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, shrink operations, clustering, log shipping, mirroring and DR procedures.
  • Powershell experience a plus.
  • Ability to interact with highly-motivated development staff.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
