Optimal Blue allows you to customize transactional emails that can be sent to your users related to processes like Lock Requests, Lock Accepts, Lock Denials, etc. You are able to configure these emails to appear to be sent by an email address in your domain, even though they are actually delivered by Optimal Blue.
Please note that implementing customized emails in this manner may cause Optimal Blue system emails to appear as spam and be blocked by your organization’s email platform. To prevent this, Optimal Blue recommends using the default of DoNotReply@OptimalBlue.com. Should you desire to utilize customized email addresses, configuration is required in your internal mail system to prevent these emails from being blocked.
The following Optimal Blue email source IP addresses should be added to your inbound white list:
- 52.249.26.186/32
- 52.249.26.214/32
- 52.252.165.197/32
- 52.252.212.226/32
If you haven’t already done so, in DNS, add “include:_spf.optimalblue.com” to your SPF records for your domain or domains that we are sending emails to on your behalf. For example: “v=spf1 mx include:_spf.optimalblue.com -all”.
Follow the steps below to customize the sender email address:
- Access the Entity Preferences link on the Admin tab in Optimal Lender.
- Navigate to the section titled Email / System Display.
- Update the Value column field with the appropriate sender address. Check the Apply to All Entities box if you want this setting applied to all users.
