By default, when the Request Lock button is clicked, Optimal Blue reruns the search to validate that pricing has not worsened since the time the loan originator selects a price from their search results. This message displays when the price on a selected product has worsened within that time. Users need to resubmit their results to update pricing before requesting a lock.
Price validation can be enabled/disabled by users with Admin access rights in Entity Preferences.
