Job Summary

As a SaaS company, our Business Analysts play a critical role in defining and documenting the business requirements for our products/services and serving as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to create clear business requirements for new product/service offerings by decomposing business cases into functional business requirements documents and capturing and communicating questions and changes to project stakeholders
  • Prepare documentation to include business requirements, functional requirements, impact analysis, and key decisions
  • Produce and maintain project artifacts
  • Work closely with the development team to address issues or points of clarification, move development forward using backlog grooming and sprint prioritization, testing products/services and ensuring successful development of requirements as agreed upon by the stakeholders
  • Facilitate cross-functional team communication and meetings to include design and planning meetings

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst to include:
    • Understanding of the SDLC using Agile methodologies

Job Summary:

Guideline Specialists at Optimal Blue perform a variety of tasks to effectively manage the content of the Optimal Blue system. Guideline Specialists handle all aspects of content implementation and maintenance including research, programming, and quality assurance testing of investor specific content. Guideline Specialists also perform software testing for new or updated Optimal Blue system features. As a team, all Guideline Specialists must work together ensure all information is accurate and reliably represented within the Optimal Blue system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review investor product matrices, underwriting guidelines and rate sheets and program those eligibility rules and price adjustments with a high degree of accuracy into Optimal Blue’s internal system.
  • Completes content updates in an efficiently following department procedures.
  • Test products for accuracy using the Optimal Blue’s Lender system.
  • Participate in projects involving content related programming and QA testing for new and/or existing system functionality.
  • Gain strong knowledge base for individual investors, as well as Optimal Blue system features and functionality.
  • Research and resolve customer reported product eligibility and/or price adjustment issues.
  • Work together with Client Services, Investor Relations and Technical Departments on various projects.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Residential mortgage product knowledge (i.e. lock desk, secondary market experience); familiarity with investor rate sheets and product guidelines preferred.
  • Strong analytical and auditing skills.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter, multi-task oriented, results driven and can work within and meet specific time constraints.
  • Ability to work independently but still cooperative in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills.
  • Strong technical skills; proficient in MS products and other web-based applications.

Job Summary:

The Server (System) Administrator will perform a broad range of administration tasks for Optimal Blue’s platforms which include both owned equipment as well as cloud based systems (Azure, AWS). This team member will perform routine to complex server administration tasks in a mostly Windows and Linux environment. Tasks including patch management, firmware upgrades, system monitoring and remediation, security scanning and backup management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, deploy, and validate the update and security patch management of all Windows and Linux servers.
  • Assist with daily monitoring and troubleshooting tasks on servers, applications, storage, and networks.
  • Accountability for Qualys security scanning, reporting, and mitigation plans.
  • Oversight of backup activity including daily checks, validation of comprehensive coverage, and restore testing utilizing tools such as MS system Center and Cloudberry.
  • Provide maintenance and support of servers as required for their day to day operation and utilization.
  • Ensure documentation of all processes are maintained.
  • Participate in the continuous maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure that all systems are routinely monitored and maintained.
  • Respond to assigned System Administration service requests and provide timely status updates on the progress of ongoing requests.
  • Light to moderate network administration (DNS, Network Device IOS, etc.).
  • Identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and recommend new approaches to ensure optimal performance and to meet business needs.
  • Stay on top of industry trends; work with vendors in evaluating and implementing new technologies.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Role Requirements:

  • Must be able to work 2 nights per month and 1 – 2 weekends per month. Accommodations will be made to your weekly schedule when you work nights/weekends.

  • Partners with other automated test case developers to create a unified approach to automation across the team.
  • Supports the development of test plans, test cases, strategies and QA metrics in support of test execution.
  • Execute functional, regression, and various other types of testing as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, or related subject
  • 2 years of Web Test Automation framework design and development.
  • 3 years of overall QA experience
  • Experience with coding and an understanding of quality concepts and the software development life cycle.
    • Experience with GUI automated test frameworks; preferred CodedUI and/or C#
    • Experience in Agile development environment preferred
    • Experience writing SQL queries
