Encompass Error: Inner exception is nothing. – Login failed for user ‘user.name’ from host ##.###.###.### due to error (IPBlocked)


Cause: 

Customer has their Encompass Admin Policy setting to “Allow access from certain IPs” set to “Enable” and the allowed IPs that they have set up do not include our IP addresses.

Delete above and send to customer:

This error will display when your Encompass Admin Policy setting “Allow access from certain IPs” is set to “Enabled” (See screenshot below).  In order for the Encompass/Optimal Blue integration to work, please add the following IP addresses to your Allowed IPs list:

  • 23.100.237.65
  • 23.100.236.102
  • 20.45.5.20
  • 20.45.6.248
