User impersonation allows a secondary/admin user to log in through Encompass and access Optimal Blue as another user, without having to obtain that user’s login credentials. The user to be impersonated must have an access level of Loan Officer, Processor, or Branch Manager in Optimal Blue.
In order to use the impersonation functionality, a hierarchy preference will need to be enabled by Optimal Blue Client Services. This hierarchy preference applies to all users within the corporate entity with the appropriate access, it cannot be set at the individual user level.
