Notification sent to Tier 1 and Tier 2 contacts on 6/5/19:
On July 12th, at 2:00 AM CT, Optimal Blue will be updating the IP addresses of our Production environment. While we limit these types of changes as much as possible, these new IP addresses are related to a necessary upgrade of the services we contract through Azure. This change will impact all Encompass® Users that have configured the LOS to only allow access from certain IPs which is a common configuration choice.
In order to determine if your Encompass instance currently has IP filtering enabled making this update necessary, your Encompass Admin can visit Settings Manager in Encompass Admin Tools. If “Allow access from certain IPs” is set to “Enabled” you will need to add the IP addresses noted below as “Allowed”. It is important that you DO NOT remove any IP addresses that are currently configured as “Allowed” until sometime after Optimal Blue’s July 12th update. In addition, if you must add the new IP addresses as “Allowed” before July 12th, or you will experience service disruption as soon as our update is completed.

If “Allow access from certain IPs” is set to “Disabled”, no updates are required.
if you access our Stage Environment for testing, you must also update the allowed IP addresses for the Encompass instances that are pointed to Optimal Blue’s Stage Environment. The IP address update for the stage environment will take place on June 18th at 9:00 PM CT. Again, these IP addresses must be added before June 18th and any addressed already listed as allowed should not be removed until after the June 18th update.
