Your Optimal Blue Team has been busy making improvements and optimizations to the system over the last several weeks.  We are excited about the performance improvements that have been delivered and that system availability has been steady over the last several weeks of unprecedented volume.  This email provides some details about some additional updates that will be made in the near future.  If you have any questions or concerns related to any of these items, please reach out to your Client Services Team.


Monday, September 16th Release


On Monday evening at 10:00 PM Central Time, the following updates will be made in the Production Environment. There will be less than 2 minutes of downtime associated with this release.


Encompass Users – Automating Optimal Blue Logout After Change Request

Today when a user is in Encompass and submits a change request from Encompass, the user launches out to Optimal Blue and is redirected back to the Change History page. The change request is pending until the user logs out of their Optimal Blue session within Encompass.


With this update, when a user submits a change request from Encompass, instead of being redirected back to the Change History page, the user will see a pop-up message that asks them to click OK to complete the change request process.  When they do, they will be automatically logged out of their Optimal Blue Session within Encompass, allowing for the change request to be processed by the secondary team right away. 


Loan Level Navigation Updates

In our last release, Optimal Blue implemented an update to non-loan level navigation to decrease the amount of time it’s taking to load those pages when selected. Due to the success of that change, we will be implementing the same logic for the loan level navigation with this release.  There will be no impact to functionality and its possible you will notice slight improvements in the loading of some of the web pages.  In addition, these changes reduce the general load on the system, which is helpful in times of high volume.


Thursday, September 19th Release


On Thursday, September 19th at 10:00 PM Central Time, the following update will be made in the Production Environment. There will be less than 2 minutes of downtime associated with this release.


Encompass Users – Correction to Purpose of Refinance Mapping Issue

We are correcting a mapping issue for the Purpose of Refinance field when one of the following Loan Purpose values in OB is selected; FHA Streamline Refi, VA Rate Reduction, Refi Rate & Term/Limited C.O.. Currently, when the Encompass Purpose of Refinance field is added to a custom form and one of these values in the OB Loan Purpose is selected, the field will not display correctly in Encompass. This update will correct the mapping so that the correct value is displayed in Encompass.


General Update


Pricing Storage Move to Azure


Over the next several weeks, we will be migrating customers to start using base pricing from our new Azure base pricing storage when running searches. This configuration has been used in our Staging Environment for several weeks.  Once all customers are migrated to use the new storage, we will be decommissioning the current storage and anticipate much faster rate sheet processing timeframes. This update will be made on a client-by client basis during off hours without any associated downtime.  You should expect that things will continue to work in the same way they do today after this change is in place.
