Viewing Ignored Loans and DTI Exceptions

This Solution article describes how to view loans that were set to “ignore” during the loan review process as well as how to view loans with DTI exceptions.

View Ignored Loans/Remove Ignore Label

During the loan review process described in the Reviewing Loans in OA section, you many have chosen to ignore loans that did not need to be included in the data set. To view ignored loans, use the following procedure:

  1. Enter loan search criteria at the top of the Fair Lending landing page, and click Refresh.

  2. Click the Ignored Loans link at the bottom of the page.

  3. To view a specific loan from the list of ignored loans, click the Open button next to that loan. The loan details for the selected loan displays.

  4. To remove the ignore label from a loan, uncheck the Ignore this Loan checkbox. If necessary, add notes in the text box, then click Save.

  5. Close the Loan Details dialog box.

  6. To return to the Fair Lending home page, click the Back to Fair Lending link at the top of the Ignored Loans list.

View Loans with DTI Exceptions

Loans with Exceptional DTI means they fall out of the 0-100% range or have no DTI. If you are reviewing for QM, you can decrease your filter range in the graphing section. This area shows blatant errors in data integrity.

To view loans with DTI exceptions, use the following procedure.

  1. Enter loan search criteria at the top of the Fair Lending landing page, and click Refresh.

  2. Click the Loans with DTI Exceptions link at the bottom of the page.

  3. To view a specific loan from the list of ignored loans, click the Open button next to that loan. The loan details for the selected loan displays.

  4. You can correct this error in your LOS or use the notes section of this page to put a note in the file before closing the dialog box. To enter a note, put text into the text box, and click Save.

  5. Click the “X” on the top of the Loan Details dialog box to close.

  6. To return to the Fair Lending home page, click the Back to Fair Lending link at the top of the Loans with DTI Exceptions list.
